If I were to sum me up in a few words I guess I would say that I am passionate about design, sunshine and ALL of my boys (which there are 4 of, counting the big guy). Basically, this blog will be dedicated to sharing all of these things with you. These templates were based on Ashley’s “Seriously Simple Asuka”. Version 1.0 actually IS Seriously Simple Asuka but has been resized to 9×9 and now includes actions for conversion to other sizes. Please let us know if you have purchased Version 1.0 in the past as we will be upgrading at no charge.

You might be a geek graphic designer if:
1. you get way too excited when someone asks you to identify a typeface.
2. you are getting dressed and as you are putting on your t-shirt you think to yourself “this shirt is Pantone 7492″.
3. every time you watch Wall-E you freak out because you think your computer is shutting down in the other room.
4. you don’t think of fruit when someone says the word “apple”.
5. your child spills a drink and the first thing you think of is “apple z”.
6. you get more excited when you buy new fonts than new clothes.
7. you don’t actually READ magazines anymore (unless they are about graphic design).
8. you judge all things on the quality of the logo/brand.
9. your wedding or the arrival of your baby was branded.
10. you get really excited when your baby (who cannot even talk yet) recognizes the McDonald’s arches because you know he has an eye for brand recognition (design).
I am not sure that I should be releasing this secret information into the world but if you are a fellow designer I KNOW you can relate … 
Yep … we are OFFICIAL!!! Ash, Lisa and I are OFFICIALLY incorporated. I could not be ANY MORE excited. Our web site is being programmed as we speak and we opened our bank account yesterday. We are so close!!! So excited!!!
So after a bit of a hiatus I got the camera out yesterday to take some pics. Stacy and I just finished hanging her beautiful images of Danny in his room so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to finally (8 months later!!!) take some shots of his cute little room. 
We have been getting quite a few inquiries about our rates, time frame and process so we wanted to go ahead and give a status update on Luxecetera. The web site has officially been designed and is being sent to the programmers as we speak. Our incorporation papers have been approved and we should have the official papers any day now. (So excited!!) Rates have been established and so has our time frame for projects. We are currently adding clients to our waiting list. We will begin work for those on our list beginning April 1st. A few people have also inquired as to how the whole communication process will work. Will it still be a personal experience? YES IT WILL!!! NO WORRIES! The reason we joined our businesses in the first place was so we could pool our resources but still retain the personal level of professionalism we have always been so proud to offer our clients. We are going to be just as personal and connected as ever, we promise.
Ashley and Lisa will be co-directors of the brand development division. When you hire Luxc to develop your brand you will work directly with one person (Ashley or Lisa) the whole way through. But the BEST part is that we will all work together to fully develop the best brand possible for YOU and YOUR business.
If your wondering what I will be doing … “officially” I will be directing the Fine Stationery and Templates for Photographers divisions. I will also be helping with brand development, heading up the Album Design division and whatever else comes up. Oh … and Lisa and Ash will also be helping with these things as well!

Just another sneak peek of what’s in the works at LUXC … We will also be offering custom album design. We are working on the pricing and options as we speak so there will be more information to follow soon. Below are a few sample pages from an album that we just completed for one of Ashley’s weddings. And be sure to check out the last sample page. Ash had THE BEST idea. She wanted to do a “photo booth” at the wedding and it turned out fantastic. What a neat idea!! Stay tuned … more to come! 
This will be the first post of several over the next week or so with sneak peeks and information about what is happening at Luxecetera. Along with wrapping up our individual clients, making decisions about our new brand and designing new things we have also been working on our product offerings. MANY new template collections are in the works, including a line called Luxecetera Signature. Luxc Signature will include several collections (baby and holiday to start). Below is a quick sneak peek of Luxc Baby which will debuting in about a month. Luxc Baby is a set of 5 folded 5×7 birth announcement templates complete with 5 original signature illustrations, original pattern designs and 4 panels for a completely customizable look. This is just one of the MANY new things that will be debuting in the boutique. Stay tuned for more!
